Chips
Just when you thought Manchester’s new apartment buildings were beginning to look the same, along comes ’Chips’, so called because it looks like chips on a plate.
Designed by Alsop Architects, who dreamed up the Strategic Framework for the whole of New Islington, Chips is one of the most significant buildings in the scheme.
Overlooking canals on both sides, with a restaurant at ground level, this is one of the best addresses in New Islington. Clad with warm timber panels and stamped references to local canals and trading routes, this is a building that will be famous as soon as it is built.
There is also a secure basement car park under Chips.
There are only a handful of apartments remaining for sale.
Visit the Chips website for the latest information.
