Unlike much of the old Cardroom Estate, the houses on Weybridge Road address the street and didn’t suffer from being hidden away in the middle of the old estate .
Local residents expressed a desire to keep some of the houses from the old estate and because most of these were in a relatively good position - facing onto the main street and in relatively good condition - we worked the plan to incorporate them.
These houses have been upgraded by Manchester Methodist Housing Association to ensure that the standards of the Millennium Community will apply to them - in so far as we are able.
