The lovely people of the Kings Arms Knitting Club lead a public knit-a-thon. It’ll be a chance for all Manchester's knitters to congregate and for any wannabe knitters and crocheters to have a go!

Pimp My Barge!

Come and marvel as teams of Sketch City artists pimp out miniature barges in a battle to be crowned champion barge pimper. Get involved with mini barge models and create your own pimped out masterpiece.

Knot Crazy

Canal craft and story telling from Ben Selfe - a fender-maker, a raconteur extraordinaire, a spiritualist, a historian and film star!

Gulliver’s Boombox

A larger than life Ghetto Blaster is brought to life pumping out soul funk filled 70s disco, 80s rap and modern classics. Street dance is brought back to the streets with dancers from Company Fierce bursting out of the Ghetto Blaster showing the evolution of dance movements and music. The show is created by Walk the Plank and originally commissioned by X.Trax.

Unity Radio bus

A mobile incarnation all things Unity, the Unity Radio Bus is decked out with a top notch soundsystem and dancefloor. The bus will be showcasing the best of urban talent and the place to be if you fancy letting loose with some moves.

Spectangular

A lightbox of enlightenment. Comma Film and Kiosk Gallery present a unique audio-visual experience with an all-day programme of Manchester-generated short film and photography... and all neatly boxed off in the most mobile of spaces. Featuring the best of Comma's adaptation work and three specially commissioned premieres.
