What's New Islington all about, Alfie?
New Islington was the name of this area in 1840, it's not some poncey homage to Islington in London, although that is our favourite borough.
The partnership has already invested over £30m into the area and built a beautiful new park, a stunning new canal and we’re on site or on the drawing board with schemes from Will Alsop, shedkm, Ian Simpson Architects, Ben Kelly Design, FAT, DeMetz Forbes Knight, DSDHA, Matthew Heywood Architects and Andrew Grant Associates.
New Islington will be a proper place, you might even describe it as a place with more than a smattering of good old fashioned values with a very modern, very devilish, very cheeky twist.
